Reputation

By using AbsoluteOdds you can earn reputation. The more reputation you earn the more you can take part. You earn reputation by

+1  Visit at absoluteodds.com (max. one reputation point per day)
+1  New forum post
+1  New forum reply
+3  New pick

You can earn further reputation if the users like your posts/picks.
 
+3  Your forum post get voted up
-2  You forum post get voted down (-1 for the voter)
+5  Your pick get voted up
-3  You pick get voted down (-2 for the voter)

Along as you earn more reputation you'll get access to more functions and at the end you'll get access to take part of the administration.

250  Edit forum posts from all users
300  Make forum thread sticky
400  Lock forum thread

Votes

If you have enough reputation you can vote for posts and picks. You can either vote up or vote down. Up votes will tell the users (and poster) that you like the post/pick and the poster will earn more reputation. Down votes will tell the users (and the poster) that you don't like the post/pick and the poster will lose reputation. Notice that you'll also lose reputation by down voting.
